Hello, November – Second Book Thoughts

Well, well, well. Hello November, my dear friend. I’ve been anticipating your arrival for a while now and it’s so great to see you again. As much as the previous months have been a journey of self and reflection, I think this month will be my most exciting one yet. Here’s why…

First of all, I’m going to start working on my second book of poetry. Well, it’s more of a collection but whatever. This next one will have about 55-85 pages in total. Not entirely sure but, I’ll keep you updated on my progress regarding that. Another thing I wanted to tell you about, is that I’ll be officially telling you all what the title will be. Probably in the next few weeks, or perhaps sooner. Haven’t decided on a specific date. It’ll definitely be around the time that I publish, order and review my book’s content before making it publicly available for all to see and witness. So, yeah. I am really excited about that if I’m being totally honest.

It will have a cover design, of some sort. A very talented friend of mine is going to help me with that, which is such an honor. She is incredible in all sense of the word. How people will react to how it all turns out is another story, but it’s nice to work on something personal and to have the chance to collaborate with creative, artistic friends.

This is about something more than just poetry and writing as a whole. It’s about testing your own self and not being afraid to express your fears and desires. That’s what this book will be based on; truth, passion, art.

Another thing I am counting down the days for is when I get to see Blondie live for the first time.

Now, it’s been a childhood dream to hear Deborah Harry sing in reality, and to see her and her band perform. For as long as I can remember, I grew up on 70’s and 80’s music. As well as a lot of other incredible musicians, genres, bands, duos, trios etc. The list could simply go on. So, apart from writing, I am a passionate music lover. But anything creative is highly respected by me personally. Most things, definitely.

I think it inspires me, to see all these people do what they love and have control on what they create. Most people don’t.

Anyway, I’ll be sure to keep this blog updated with more details, about a lot of things. Until then, here’s to a great month. The next post will be up possibly tomorrow or on Friday. Have a wonderful November!
