Friday the 13th: no luck or myth?

Known as the day of bad luck, I’m feeling surprisingly optimistic about the outcome…

Today was great for a bunch of reasons, mainly the (I lost weight) part of the whole thing, not because it was such a big deal, but it’s mainly a proud moment for someone who has struggled with their weight in the past and someone who has previously broken a lot of her former resolutions, many of which have been resurrected a lot over the past years.

Sticking to your 2017 goals can be tough, but with determination and willpower on your side, what could go wrong? Perhaps a lot of things but remember your guided path.

Happy Friday to all!

    1. I hope today has been good for you too! And very true, although it’s not often I accomplish things as well as I have so I consider it a little bit of coincidental luck haha. 🙂

  1. It’s subjective. When I was in ninth grade, on a Friday the 13th, my advanced biology class got our grades back on the last chapter test before the final exam. The teacher said that anyone who got a 100 on that test would not have to take the final exam. I got a 100.

This year, a very cute outside kitty rubbed against my legs.

    1. It’s a strange date in general, especially with all the myths and theories regarding it, but it’s nice to know that many experience great things on that day instead of the opposite.

  2. 13 is a lucky number in China. I suppose it depends on your own views how you experience Friday the 13th. Personally, I liked the second film better than the first, but the date doesn’t really make me icky or anything.

Congrats on losing the weight! And sticking to you goals can be a challenge, but everything worth fighting for is, well, worth fighting for. Keep up the good work! 🙂
