Self Care Sunday

Looking after yourself is so important, and that is something that I should make more of a priority in my life.

Today has been very peaceful, I have always loved Sundays. I do wish the weekend could last a bit longer.

Going to try and wake up early tomorrow. It helps me feel better, and starts the day off right.

Being kind to yourself can be so therapeutic and humbling.

A little TLC makes a big difference.

Intuitive Mindset

Following my intuition has been a learning curb & then some.

I used to listen to my gut instinct often. Over time, I ended up missing the memo on a lot of inconsistencies, whether it related to people or my own habits, inspiration or lack thereof, and motivation some days.

Becoming more in sync with this is on my list of things to improve, as much as one can possibly achieve without making it too big of a deal.

Not entirely sure why I felt like talking about this particular subject. Might go into more detail in a future post or two.

We Meet Again, Hello June

It’s a new month, once more. To think six months have gone by already, that is strange yet intriguing.

Had plenty of good ideas on what to write, but when you’ve got the flu, you just need to take a step back, focus on your health and rest, so that’s what I’ve been doing for the most part.

My energy levels might be low right now, but my optimism isn’t. That being said, I’m currently writing this as I contemplate what time to sleep, or if I can sleep at all tonight. Congestion is not fun.

But, I’m not letting that get in the way of a lot, although exercise is something that I have been less focused on.

That’s not a bad thing, of course. I try and listen to what my body is telling me.

Simple Accomplishments

Another day, another blog post on DAYDREAM MADNESS.


I was going to write this earlier in the day, but lost track of time and better late than never, in my opinion.

Got my whole list ticked off before 8pm, so that was a nice feeling.

Started some new supplements today, which really helped my energy levels. I’ve become quite interested in all things health, nutrition and more.

To be honest, I’ve never felt better. I truly wish I had found this motivation sooner than I did, but I lost interest many times in the past.

As I got older, I definitely appreciated myself a lot more, took the time to better my life for me and no one else. Every person’s journey is different, and mine has always been imbalanced as of recent years.

More than ever, I’m determined to stay on track and find balance.

Easier said than done, but I think it’s going pretty well so far.

Going to sleep rather soon, I need all the rest I can get for tomorrow’s long day ahead. Wishing you all well, take care of yourselves and stay safe.
