Hello, and welcome to the weird part of the internet that is my blog.
Well, it’s not too out there or strange, but life definitely does not have a normal day, ever.
I’ve been trying to declutter the house, gather my thoughts and cook a lot more, which has been a journey and a half.
A very random post is what I’ll be posting tonight. But all that aside, today has been great. Sunday is tomorrow, so I’m hoping to be productive and up early for all the fun and joy that household chores bring.

Wanted to start this post off by saying that it’s going to be a busy day. I don’t know what to expect, yet I’m going to keep a hopeful outlook on things.
Aside from that, there is a lot of genuine excitement, which does not occur often.

Going to keep this post short, for the most part. I always seem to get writing at night, during the day it’s just not the same. Or perhaps, inspiration for me just lacks.
I am going to be making longer entries over the next few days or so.
For some reason, my energy levels were pretty non-existent most of today, but I feel energetic now. So, there’s that. Naps are so necessary sometimes.
Hope everyone is doing well on this Saturday evening (or day) depending on the current time. Weekend has been good so far. Take care!
Thinking too much can be complicated, especially when all you want is peace of mind.
Despite the wisdom and security of self, that comes with age, there’s still moments of insecurity that linger in the background.
Many thoughts, mainly at night. They come and go, some are less ideal than others.
Going to try and get some revision done before my math exam next week, I’m genuinely nervous, but we’ll see how it goes. All you can do is try your best.
Anyway, I’ll probably go to sleep soon. Happy Saturday.
For as long as I can remember, I loved self-expression and it only got stronger with time.
Creativity is an outlet, a fortress of wonder and discovery.
That’s what inspired me to create this blog, as well as my two collections of poetry too. Working on the next book is going to be a long journey of complex emotions.
But, on a positive note, I hope you all have a great Saturday.
Being the midnight owl I am, there’s something about writing at night that is so relaxing and it puts my mind at ease. Inspiration strikes at strange times of the day.
Not been particularly inspired to write much this weekend, but I believe the best thing is to just be patient. I have a feeling I’ll be awake for quite some time because I fell asleep in the afternoon, typical me.
Saturday is almost over, unfortunately. It feels like it just started as well.
Tomorrow is laundry day, amongst other things, before the new week begins once more. Can you believe it’s Easter soon? I cannot.
It’s almost midnight here as I write this, how crazy. Got a few things to do before I eventually go to bed, yet I’m wide awake and alert.
A longer ramble than most, perhaps. There’s not many intriguing topics to discuss because of how predictable things have gotten in the last year.
We’ll see what the future has in store, right? Stay kind & aware.
An early addition, for me anyway.
Hello readers, bloggers and human beings.
Found it a little difficult knowing what to write, but I want to keep this streak of writing alive for the time being. After all, this is a personal blog.
I’ve been meaning to start work on my next book of poetry, although it’s still a work in progress. A lot is going on, but I’m feeling positive so far.
Focusing on my health is a priority at the moment, as well as other things alongside that. I am determined to stick to my resolutions this year, in a healthy and gradual way. I try not to call it ‘dieting’ as it can trigger unhealthy eating habits.
Being the impatient young woman I am, it can feel like this whole process is taking a long time, yet I do understand that it’s not an overnight change.
Anyway, I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend.

Having the willpower to stay on track with exercise and eating well seems a lot more difficult during the weekends. I do enjoy working out, aerobic dance is fun, wireless earbuds have been one of the best purchases that I made in 2020.
I did plan to get another hour of exercise in before the end of today, but I already did 30 minutes and that was a good start. Incorporating that into my routine each day is something that I’m still working on, but the gradual weight loss has been very encouraging to witness.
During this lockdown, I’ve really been interested in fitness and overall health in general, which has been an interesting journey by all means.
The end goal has always been to become healthier, in a gradual, healthy way and I honestly do believe it’ll be worth it in the end. Patience is difficult, I am the most impatient person on this planet.
Positive affirmations help too, keeping track of your progress and just knowing that these things take time, there is no transformation overnight.
Remembering to be kind to yourself is important, I know I’ve had my fair share of insecurities. It’s always so wonderful seeing others be body positive, and it reminds me that I’ll get there too, eventually.
Getting older, you feel more comfortable in your skin, and that’s very accurate to some extent. It can be such a complex subject, especially in today’s society.
Regardless, I’m proud of my progress so far, and it’s nice to feel good about yourself. When I reflect back to how teenage me felt, I just wish I could tell her that things will be okay.

Taking a break from all these chores, it is so lovely to relax.
Sunday’s tomorrow, a lot of things to get done, but as long as I wake up early, it’ll be good.
Appreciating my weekend until Monday arrives once again. I’ll try and sleep soon, hopefully.
