Resting Mode

As soon as I write this up, I’m going straight to bed.

Got an early morning dental appointment to attend tomorrow, both nervous and relieved at the same time.

In a bit of pain from the previous, but looking forward to the weekend so I can rest and recover from this in peace.

Busy Friday Ahead

Almost midnight here, tomorrow is Friday and I have a lot to get done on that day.

My mind is racing, too many thoughts at once. Not necessarily a bad thing, I suppose I’m a perfectionist when it comes to planning.

There’s a chance I might fall asleep. Luckily, I managed to write a list of what I need to get done tomorrow. Saturday is going to be fun.

Usually I look forward to the weekend, but when I have important things to do, it makes me kind of stressed at times.

Nonetheless, it’s going to be eventful. Life does not have one dull moment, I can tell you that much.

Mindful Weekend

And so, the weekend is about to end once more. Time really does go by in the blink of an eye.

It’s been a productive yet long Sunday, but I have really enjoyed it.

This is a very late post, honestly. I’ll definitely try and write earlier in the day from tomorrow onwards, if possible.

Long Monday Feeling

It has been a very tiring day, and it’s safe to say that I’m going to bed straight after uploading this. Mondays can be quite hectic, the start of the week always is.

Anyway, I’m hoping to write more, perhaps more than once a day, depending on how I feel about certain subjects, or if I’m feeling inspired that particular moment.

It’s The Small Things In Life

There’s nothing like a good skincare routine, to make you feel calm and relaxed after a long day. If you can’t tell, I’m so exhausted! Haha.

Although, the weather today was magnificent, sunny and bright until like 8pm which has been so good. It definitely helped when it came to motivating me to complete certain household chores that I had been putting off for hours.

Going to bed straight after this, honestly. Also, thank you for all the new blog follows, I truly appreciate it so much. It brings joy to my day.

March Is Almost Here (Again)

Another month is ending, how strange is that?

Lockdown is seemingly coming to an end soon, or so I hope, with the uncertainty that has been surrounding us all regarding this.

I’m personally kind of stressed right now, got a lot of stuff to do and sort out on Monday so I’m hoping that all goes well. My mind tends to overthink certain times, which can happen. Just hoping that these feelings will be put to rest once I accomplish what I set my mind to.

Life can be tricky sometimes, but I’m trying to take one day at a time, because thinking too far ahead can be a little too much.

Anyway, I’ll probably go to sleep after this, the peaceful day of Sunday is upon us until that Monday feeling comes again. And it’s March 1st on that day too, double trouble.

Sunday Thoughts



Today was a lot, I honestly didn’t feel too great earlier, but after some pain relief, things were okay again. No, it wasn’t cold related, it was simply a case of temporary, yet uncomfortable stomach pains that subsided; to my relief.

I’ve got my energy back too, which is a good sign.

Sunday is here once more, and a new week is about to begin shortly.

Every week feels the same, in my opinion, and I am sure a lot of people feel this way about it too. Having a routine helps a lot, keeps me occupied and on track.

Going to bed soon, but I wanted to share some of my thoughts, and also get some studies completed in the meantime. I enjoy online lessons, don’t get me wrong, but you can’t beat in-person communication and learning.

If only 15 year old me had felt that way ten years ago. Times have changed.

A lot to be grateful for, such as my health, my family and friends, and all of the people I have come to know through the blog and other social media.

Think I’ll end the post for tonight, and get the other things done before I head off to sleep. Hope you’re all staying safe, and talk to you soon.

Snow Days In January




The weather is really cold these days, and now there’s snow.

January has been such a weird month, like many of the previous ones in the last year or so. As much as I don’t mind cold days or nights, it still manages to get on my last nerve sometimes.

It can also make it difficult to get out of bed in the mornings too, having to wear many layers around the house is interesting, I do keep the heating on a lot, but with that being so expensive, as it can be for many people, I try and keep it on mainly at night.

So glad I have my fleece blanket, as well as my normal duvet. I am thinking of getting more winter type bedding and things like that, but I’m really prioritizing other bills and expenses.

Got a lot of math study to catch up on, which I’ll probably do some of it tomorrow morning. I am determined to wake up early, plus I enjoy cleaning the house. It’s very therapeutic, comforting and I count it as exercise, depending on the household chores I do over the course of the day.

Another thing I also love beyond words is cooking. I could spend hours upon hours making dishes from scratch, it’s something I hope to do more of as well, sometimes there’s not a lot of time and you just want something quick and simple, that’s pretty great too.

Reflection Sunday



Sundays are bittersweet. They’re both relaxing and a tiny bit stressful.

For me, it’s been a wonderful day of productivity and I managed to get a lot done in a short amount of time. Tomorrow is going to be slightly different, but I am feeling good about it.

My only goal for tonight is to write this post early (kind of) so I can lay in bed and fingers crossed, sleep before midnight. Spoiler alert, it’s already half past ten and then some.

I need to set my alarms now, so I don’t forget and sleep too long. Might put on some music and drift off to sleep. Fixing my sleep schedule hasn’t been easy, I must admit.

Anyway, I’ll try and keep it short for now, I hope everyone has a good night, or day. Stay safe, take care of yourself and others. Be kind, happy and more.
