Motivating Thursday

You know it’s been a wonderful day when you’re exhausted, but happy.

Heart is full of gratitude and love for the ones in my life. Blessed in many ways, and I’m beginning to write more as well, which is truly a nice feeling too.

Good Start

The week has definitely started off great, very productive and I’m happy with that.

Also, thank goodness for pain relief because dental appointments are not very fun to attend, let’s just say this.

I honestly could fall asleep right now, but I wanted to update the blog before I forget to.

Have a great Monday evening.

No List Weekend

This weekend, I’m genuinely trying to rest. Woke up early this morning, took a nap almost as soon as I got home.

I’m feeling quite positive about the exam I took earlier as well. I have a feeling that I passed it, but we’ll see once the tutor gives me feedback on that.

There’s never truly a normal day for me these days, as much as I try. But in all fairness, is life really meant to be predictable? No, or maybe sometimes?

Anyway, cheers to the weekend!

Escapism In Expression

Been distracting myself all day with chores and exercise, it’s the only thing calming my nerves about tomorrow’s meeting/appointment etc. Not only that, I have an exam on Friday, so I’m praying that my mind doesn’t go blank on the day.

In other news, I do look forward to being out and about in the city, long walks can be very therapeutic. I must admit, being out more is strange, considering how most people have been indoors a lot of the time.

A strange time in life, definitely. What also is hard to believe is that it’s July soon. My perception of time has changed a lot in recent months.

Kind of tired but I want to bleach my roots. Anyway, there’s a chance I might fall asleep shortly. Typical Monday, it feels like. Productivity has been great though.

Hope you all have a great rest of your day!

Last Week Of April…

May is around the corner, and I don’t quite know what to make of this fact.

It’s a bittersweet month, for many reasons. I both dread and look forward to it, if that makes sense at all?

Complicated person over here, trying to work all of life out, one step/day at a time. Honestly glad the weekend is here though, I can sleep a lot, eat good food and hopefully write more poems and blog posts.

All I’ve managed to collect and write down is titles for things, creatively speaking. Got a lot on my mind, so that doesn’t help.

But have a good weekend, enjoy it.

Monday Gratitude

Today was meant to be Blue Monday, and for the first time in years I can honestly say, it really wasn’t too bad. Start of the week can be a bit slow and tiring, although that’s not unusual.

Been quite productive too, which I’m pleased about. Got up early, took my supplements, all that fun, morning routine stuff. I’ve tried to keep myself organized and punctual, so I don’t forget anything important.

Weather’s quite cold, it seems like it’s raining all the time during the night, either that or the wind is howling. Either way, none of that has impacted my routine so far.

My first online lesson went okay, although I think there was an issue with the audio on my end of the line. I’ve got some things I need to do before Thursday, which is something I am looking forward to a lot.

Almost reached my water intake goal for the day also, still not entirely keen on it, but I have noticed a difference in my skin, although the hyperpigmentation is something I need to sort out at some point.

Been watching a lot of videos about skincare and I have learned a lot since then. Knowing these key ingredients and what they help with has been incredibly beneficial and it helps me understand my own skin a lot more, and how to protect it well.

I’m hoping to fall asleep soon, fingers crossed. Stay safe, everyone.
