It’s a new day, but a slow one…Continue reading
The day has been good, but this madness called weather needs to calm itself down a little.
Being out for most of the day in this heat can make anyone feel dizzy and dehydrated, even though I tried my best to stay covered and drink a lot of water.
But on the bright side, I did have an enjoyable day. I just wish the sun took a break. Apparently rain is on the way, but we’ll see.
Have a wonderful evening, nonetheless!
The sunshine has been so wonderful today. It really does put a smile on your face.
Managed to get a good night’s rest as well, which doesn’t happen often.
Been trying to stay organized with the help of writing lists, and it does work to some extent too.
It’s only the start of this new week, but I’m feeling positive about it.
As always, stay safe and have a wonderful evening.
How some days go by so quickly and others do not, I don’t know.
And how is it June 1st tomorrow?!
Can’t believe the weekend is already over too. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be busy, so perhaps going to bed soon is a good idea.
Going to be writing more over the next few weeks, I hope. As always, take care and have a great evening.
When things don’t quite go to plan, your stress levels can go through the roof if you’re not careful. At least, that’s how it felt for me today.
Monday felt particularly blue, so I definitely made an effort to be kind to myself. It can be easy to get overwhelmed by our thoughts in the moment, experienced that one too many times in my life.
I actually found myself buying a self-help audiobook out of curiosity about how to manage emotions in times of feeling this way. That was certainly helpful, hearing other people’s experiences and what helps them balance it all out.
Easier said than done, as I’m sure a lot of people will say about this too.
If the past year has taught me anything, it’s that looking after yourself and your mental health is so important. When you nurture your mind, your body and your soul, everything else will fall into place, eventually.
Hoping you all have had a great Monday, or as good as it could be at this time.
I was planning to get this posted sooner, but found myself cooking for hours and getting a story written too. I admit, I’m not good at writing longer pieces of material.
Anyway, I’m off to bed. My mind needs to recharge and I also need to wake up early tomorrow. Bank Holiday weekend has been great, it just feels like it was too short.
Until tomorrow’s next post, dear people of the web.
Today has felt like the longest day.
I don’t know what it is about Mondays, but it’s something else.
Was planning to write a longer post tonight, but I’ll leave it for tomorrow instead. The first day of the new week is always so long and exhausting for my brain.
For now, I will keep the post short and sweet.
Surprisingly great start to the week, minus the headaches that come and go these days.
Hoping it stays like this, at least for a bit. Positive and bright days like this are so appreciated.
I finally get my new exercise weights tomorrow, which is great because I ordered them like, two weeks ago. Going to try and schedule future posts in advance so I can keep the blog more organized.
Would also like to go through every old post on here and tweak them a little, perhaps change the layout/theme and a few other things as well.
I keep saying I will, but somehow, I forget or I don’t have the energy for it.
Regardless, have a wonderful day/evening wherever you are.
There’s nothing like a good skincare routine, to make you feel calm and relaxed after a long day. If you can’t tell, I’m so exhausted! Haha.
Although, the weather today was magnificent, sunny and bright until like 8pm which has been so good. It definitely helped when it came to motivating me to complete certain household chores that I had been putting off for hours.
Going to bed straight after this, honestly. Also, thank you for all the new blog follows, I truly appreciate it so much. It brings joy to my day.
It’s February 1st! Hello, we meet again.
Such a great start, but terribly frustrating end to this Monday evening.
It’s safe to say that I’m kind of done with certain companies and their glitchy websites. Trying to take a deep breath and relax my mind, but it’s difficult sometimes.
Anyway, I have a lot of things to do tomorrow, so wish me luck, that my thoughts don’t get the best of me. Life is so messy at times, but here’s to me trying to persevere through the challenges it brings along.
May all of you have a much better evening, take care and stay safe.
