A Busy Saturday

*This post was meant to be published yesterday, but due to a technical error, that did not happen.

Wanted to start this post off by saying that it’s going to be a busy day. I don’t know what to expect, yet I’m going to keep a hopeful outlook on things.

Aside from that, there is a lot of genuine excitement, which does not occur often.

Have a great day, everyone!

Plans For The Weekend

It’s been a surprisingly good day.

Despite the fact that I’m absolutely exhausted from my walk earlier and so nervous about getting my exam result at some point next week, the hope is still there.

Was close to falling asleep before, so gathering some energy to write a quick post on here took a lot.

A long weekend, you can’t complain about that, can you?

My birthday is also getting closer by the hour and I’m still very conflicted.

Yes, getting older is great, you learn so much in a small space of time and I’m grateful.

It can be quite bittersweet sometimes, though.

All in all, happy Friday everyone!

March Is Almost Here (Again)

Another month is ending, how strange is that?

Lockdown is seemingly coming to an end soon, or so I hope, with the uncertainty that has been surrounding us all regarding this.

I’m personally kind of stressed right now, got a lot of stuff to do and sort out on Monday so I’m hoping that all goes well. My mind tends to overthink certain times, which can happen. Just hoping that these feelings will be put to rest once I accomplish what I set my mind to.

Life can be tricky sometimes, but I’m trying to take one day at a time, because thinking too far ahead can be a little too much.

Anyway, I’ll probably go to sleep after this, the peaceful day of Sunday is upon us until that Monday feeling comes again. And it’s March 1st on that day too, double trouble.

Take care of yourself, stay safe, be kind and God bless.

Nostalgic Feelings

It’s such a strange feeling to miss people that you don’t talk to anymore.

Nostalgia is a bittersweet thing at times, but overall, I appreciate the ones I’ve known, and the people that I have yet to meet in life.

Getting older has taught me a lot about past experiences, and I think that has also changed my perspective on things in the current day.

Tonight’s post might not be as in-depth as the previous one, but maybe the next ones over the week will be a little bit more interesting.

I’m hoping to work on the next book of poetry soon, so fingers crossed.

Anyway, I need to get some rest, if I can sleep at all.

Unforeseen Chaos

Started the day off pretty well, ended it with a malfunctioning boiler.

It’s honestly the last thing you need when the weather is as cold as it is in the UK.

Need to get an early start tomorrow, slightly anxious about it all, but I’m sure I’ll get through this.

Laying in bed, feeling thankful for my warm duvet.

Hope you’re all staying safe and well tonight.

Saturday Thoughts

It’s been a long day!

Taking a break from all these chores, it is so lovely to relax.

Sunday’s tomorrow, a lot of things to get done, but as long as I wake up early, it’ll be good.

Appreciating my weekend until Monday arrives once again. I’ll try and sleep soon, hopefully.

Have a wonderful day/evening!
