The Key To Maintaining A Blog

Having a blog is a wonderful opportunity, whether it’s for personal purposes or as part of a growing business/network, as it gives you the platform to express your thoughts, expand your ideas, and the freedom to create content you feel is most appropriate for this particular venture.

What you share is a personal choice, modified to suit your needs, and there’s no limit as to what you can tell, except boundaries; the do’s and do not’s of the blogging atmosphere.

Another thing I find of value is consistency, a perfect balance.

It’s easy to get caught up in the adrenaline rush, and the self-critical doubts of one’s semi-conscious mind, but with the right amount of structure and boost in confidence then I think anything is possible in this day and age of the society we’re a substantial part of.

How one chooses to represent their work is up to them, but in the case of my work and experiences with it, the key was to always be honest, although at times, too much honesty is not always the best policy.

To give an insight into your life is one thing, but to write wholeheartedly about every little detail is another.

I am an open book for the most part, but there are many things in which I am not comfortable discussing, but that doesn’t change the fact that I love to write about things I have passion for.

Perhaps, my goal should be to go beyond the comfort zone I am within, but you should never let anyone dictate your writing, you should write to the standards and lengths in which you are comfortable.

That’s the beauty of blogging, you choose your path and you let that be your guide.

Just because you don’t share certain details; doesn’t make your words any less valid and that’s always a vital thing to remember. You know the reality, and how you choose to tell your stories, that’s a decision you have to make and decide upon.

Believing in your instinct and showcasing it as you please is what makes a blog authentic, it shows character, which is what readers look for when browsing a blog or looking for new ones to explore in-depth. As long as you stay true to your nature, then you can’t go wrong.

Just be you and you’ll reap the rewards sooner or later.

I noticed your links don’t work, They need to be stripped down to the url, no quotes, no <a href etc

Got one of the links to work properly but the other one didn’t seem to, not sure if the link is the problem or the photo source, which was via Flickr. Thank you for telling me though!
